Este fue uno de esos días que salí de casa sin pensar en tomarme fotos... Pero el hermoso paisaje que encontramos con mi hermana pedía a gritos ser fotografiado y digamos que yo me cole en el... Definitivamente esta hermosa vista ameritaba detenernos un momento... A veces solo hace falta hacer una pausa por unos minutos para apreciar todo lo hermoso que tenemos a nuestro alrededor... 

This was one of those days I went out without thinking about taking pictures of myself... But the beautiful scenario that my sister and I found screamed to be photographed and let´s say I felt like I wanted to be there too... Definitely this beautiful view warranted to take a moment... Sometimes you just need to make a pause for a few moments to appreciate all the beauty around you...

Season Project:: Independence Day

Hola hola, como están? yo aquí iniciando la semana muy bien... Ocupada pero bien, y espero todos estemos iniciando de la misma forma... con agendas llenas pero tranquilos y confiados. Yo quiero hoy hacer una propuesta, ya saben que cuando el día de la independencia o las fiestas patrias se acercan, en algunos países, todas arman outfits con los colores de sus respectivas banderas, ok! Porque en Guatemala no lo hacemos también?, nuestra bandera tiene dos colores básicos y hermosos, con los que todas contamos en el closet, azul y blanco, así que mi proyecto de temporada para ustedes es este: que armen outfits con estos dos colores patrióticos y me los hagan llegar por cualquier vía, mail, twitter o facebook con el hashtag #GT15SEP. 

Hello hello, how are you? I'm starting the week very well... Busy but pretty well, and I hope we're all starting in the same way... with busy schedules but calm and confident. Today I want to make a proposal, you know that when the independence day or the national holidays are approaching, in some countries, all the girls create outfits with the colors of their respective flags, ok! Why don´t we do the same in Guatemala?, Our flag has two basic and beautiful colors, that we all have in our closets, blue and white, so my season project to you is this: create an outfit  with these two patriotic colors and I send them to me by email, twitter or facebook with the hashtag #GT15SEP.

Aunque no lo crean es un desafió para mi también, pero lo encuentro muy divertido. También quisiera que compartieran todo lo que hagan relativo a la fecha, pongámonos creativas y hagamos comida y decoraciones temáticas para inspirar y contagiar a todos a nuestro al rededor con el amor que sentimos por nuestro país. 

Believe it or not, is a challenge for me too, but I'm sure we´ll have so much fun. I would also like you to share everything you do for that special date, let's get creative and make  themed food and decorations to inspire and spread all the people around us with the love we feel for our country.

Yo se que este es otro proyecto loco, pero el ultimo proyecto (que puedes ver aquí), tuvo buenos resultados, así que si estaban esperando con ansias un nuevo proyecto, ya esta para que pongan manos a la obra ya que la fecha 15 de Septiembre esta ya muy cerca y quiero ver a muchas contagiadas con este sentir, así que espero muchas fotos de outfits, comida, decoración y proyectos para compartir con toda la comunidad que permanece fiel a este blog.

I know this is another crazy project, but the last project (you can see it here), had good results, so if you were looking forward to a new project, let´s work girls because September 15 is very close and I wanna see many of you infected with this feeling, so i expect many outfits photos, food, decoration and projects to share with the community that remains faithful to this blog.

Smells like rain

Mucho descanso estos días y el finde llego y aquí en Guatemala huele a que sera de lluvia, lluvia y mas lluvia, oh! si, en Guatemala llueve aunque usted no lo crea... Así que si van a quedarse en la ciudad les recomiendo unas botas, una sombrilla y un abrigo impermeable amigos... Yo no me quedo en la ciudad sino que me voy en busca de un poco de sol a la orilla de la piscina para empezar con las celebraciones del cumpleaños de mi papito... así que tomare sol en nombre de todos ustedes... mil abrazos a todos y muchas gracias por pasar a visitarme... 

To much rest these days and the weekend just came and here in Guatemala smell like rain, rain and more rain, oh yeah! in Guatemala rains, can you believe that... So if you are going to stay in town I recommend you boots, an umbrella and a raincoat friends... I'm not staying in the city, I'm seeking some sun at the edge of the pool, to start my daddy's birthday celebrations... so I'll take some sun in your name... Hola a todos, como están? yo me he sentido mucho mejor hoy, hasta he salido a hacer compras y ver telas, estoy en busca de unas telas, no soy experta así que soy de las que entra a la tienda y pide ayuda jajaja... gracias a Dios mi hermana iba conmigo y así no me reía de mi misma sola sino las dos juntas nos reíamos de mi misma, fue una mañana muy buena junto a mi hermanita... 

Hello everyone, how are you? I feel much better today, I even went out shopping and I also went out  to see some fabrics, I'm looking for some fabrics, I'm not an expert so I'm one of those who enter in the store and ask for help lol... thank God my sister was with me so I wasn´t alone laughing of myself but the two of us were laughing of myself, we had a great time with my younger sister...

Mañana es feriado aquí en Guatemala, así que tendré a mi esposo conmigo todo el día, posiblemente descansaremos o tal vez salgamos, aunque aquí es tiempo de lluvia y todas las tardes llueve así que las posibilidades para salir no son muchas. Y el fin de semana hay una gran probabilidad de que celebremos el cumpleaños de mi papi, así que son días de mucho tiempo en familia para mi.  

Tomorrow is a holiday here in Guatemala, so I'll have my husband with me all day, maybe we´ll rest or possibly we´ll get out, but here is rainy season and it rains every afternoon so the chances to go out aren't many. And the weekend is a great chance to celebrate my dad's birthday, so these days I´ll have a lot of family time.

El outfit de hoy miércoles son rayas multiplicadas por dos, hoy quiero mostrarles una combinación de dos impresiones parecidas. Muchas veces nos preguntamos como combinar estampados, yo me lo he preguntado muchas veces, y jugando he encontrado que podemos perfectamente usar el mismo estampados dos veces.  Esta vez llevo una falda de lineas delgadas y un blazer de algodon de lineas delgadas pero mas espaciadas entre si. Así que si tienes dos prendas con el mismo estampado pero en diferentes dimensiones, haz la prueba y arma un combo.

The outfit today have stripes multiplied by two, today I want to show a combination of two similar prints. We often wonder how to combine prints, I've wondered many times, and I've found that we can play perfectly using the same patterns twice. This time I wear a thin striped skirt and a cotton blazer with  thin stripes but more spaced than the skirt. So if you have two items with the same pattern but in different dimensions, try it on and then make a combo with it.

Hola, como están?, gracias por sus likes y comentarios en el ultimo post. Gracias también a todos los que estuvieron al pendiente de mis ojos, yo creí que era algo infeccioso, pero no, simplemente mis ojos aun no se adaptan a los tapones en mis ojos y eso causo irritación, pero nada que un poco de medicina no alivie, ya me siento mucho mejor hoy.

Hoy quiero compartirles una de mis recetas caseras de belleza, este es un tónico y astringente natural que me enseñaron hace poco a hacer en casa. No solo lo utilizo al limpiar mi rostro sino que cuando hace mucho calor lo utilizo en lugar del agua termal que usaba antes, y he logrado sentir los beneficios. Today I want to share one of my homemade beauty recipes, this is a natural astringent tonic that a friend recently taught me to do at home. My skin has felt pretty well, and the best part is that is for all skin types. I Not only use it to clean my face but when it's hot I use it in place of the thermal water that I used before, and I do feel the benefits. So I hope you do it and let me know soon your results.

Primero, debes tener rosas, el color no importa, solo queremos los pétalos, no los tallos ni las hojas, el equivalente a una taza de pétalos de rosa. Y lo pones en una olla con agua, esto debe hervir junto con una cucharada aproximadamente de tomillo.

The first thing is that you have to buy roses, it doesn´t matter the color, we only need the petals, not the stems or leaves, the equivalent of a cup of rose petals. And you have to put it in a pot with water, this should boil with about a tablespoon of thyme.

Luego de hervir por aproximadamente 3 minutos, te quedara un agua parecida a esta. La cual vas a pasar por un colador y la almacenaras en un bote de vidrio en el refrigerador. Esto es muy fácil.

After boiling it for about three minutes, you´ll have a water that seems like this. Strain the water and store it in a glass jar in the refrigerator. This is very easy.

Para utilizarlo en tu rostro, debes tener un bote con atomizador, yo compre este de acero inoxidable, ya que debe llegar a tu rostro en forma de roció, y no como gotas de agua.

To use it on your face, you have to buy bottle with spray, I bought this and is stainless steel, because it should come to your face in a dew way, and not in water drops way.

Red lips never fail

Hola a todos mis amigos de la blogosfera... Hoy es sábado, yeeyyy... Hoy para mi es un que quiero permanecer en casa, necesito organizar muchas cosas aquí en mi oficina, y el lunes tengo un día cargado de trabajo, así que es mejor si planifico y ordeno todo antes.

Mi outfit de hoy es tan sencillo y cómodo pero a la vez con un giro, me encanto vestir esto, la verdad fue algo que escogí a ultimo minuto, pero es de estos días en que te sientes wow! Este pantalón solo lo he doblado tres veces hacia arriba, y la verdad parecen como si no fueren míos sino de mi esposo pero no lo son, son pantalones que tengo de mis años donde era mas gordita y ahora me quedan así, y como yo no desecho sino re-uso aun los tengo en mi closet. Y este bolso que ven por vez primera ha sido un regalo de una amiga de mi hermana, es vintage, ella ha sido tan linda de pensar en mi y regalármelo, ella me dijo que había notado que me gustaban los clutch y por eso me lo regalaba, así que muchas gracias Mirna por este regalo... 

My outfit today is so simple and comfy but with a twist, I love this outfit, the truth is that it´s something I chose at the last minute, but is one of those days when you feel wow! These pants I just doubled up like three times, and the truth is that they appear as if they aren´t mine, looks like they´re boyfriend jeans and they are not,  I have these pair of jeans for a long time ago, when I was more chubby, however, you know  I re-use and that´s why I still have them in my closet. And this bag that you see for the first time has been a gift from a friend of my sister, is vintage, she has been so nice to think of me and give it to me, she told me she had noticed I liked clutchs a lot so she gave it to me, so thank you very much Mirna for this gift...

Mis labios rojos nunca fallan, esta vez quería dar color al outfit, ya tenia el azul klein, el blanco y negro, pero algo faltaba, así que mis labios rojos nunca fallan y hacia mucho no los pintaba así, como siempre quedaron perfectos... Quiero contarles que al recibir muchos elogios sobre mis labios rojos regreso en mi mente a los tiempos de estudiante, en el colegio, la verdad tenia muchos complejos sobre mis labios, tengo labios gruesos, y recuerdo que algunas amigas me hacían sentir mal por tener una boca grande, a veces yo misma trataba de esconderla, oh si, yo tenia mis inseguridades, pero con el tiempo aprendí a aceptarme tal y como era, ahora amo mis labios, es mas, me preocupa que ya no sean tan gruesos como antes, y los cuido mucho, y los pinto rojos para destacarlos aun mas porque me encantan. Y ahora veo que mis labios que antes me hacían sentir insegura nunca me fallan...

Enjoy the little things

Hola amigos, muchas gracias por sus comentarios y mensajes estos días. El miércoles tenia programado un pequeño procedimiento para mis ojos, fue horrible, pero necesario, ahora mis ojos se sienten mucho mejor y casi no siento la necesidad de usar ya los lentes, así que es pronta y buena la mejoría, mi Dr. tenia mucha razón. Sin embargo, como algunos vieron en instagram (petitdi), estaba muy nerviosa, tanto que empece a llorar cuando me pusieron la anestesia en mis ojos, eso me dolió pero no tenia idea que lo que seguía seria mas doloroso, lo fue, pero tal como mi corazón me decía, valió la pena! Y hoy aquí les dejo las cosas pequeñas de esta semana...

On Wednesday I had  scheduled  a little procedure for my eyes, it was horrible, but necessary, now my eyes feel much better and I almost don't feel the need to use my glasses, so the improvement it's prompt and good, my Dr. was right about that. However, as some of you saw on instagram (petitdi), I was very nervous, so nrevous that I started to cry when they put the anesthesia in my eyes, that hurt me but I had no idea that what was next would be more painful, it was, but as my heart told me it was worth it!
