Es uno de esos momentos, cuando todo tiene que ver con el cabello. Si recuerdan, el pasado mayo me cambie el look con mi cabello, queria resaltar esa parte de mí, pero, no estaba muy consciente de todos los cuidados adicionales que tuve que hacer a partir de ese dia... Durante la temporada de verano, me encontré en la situación de la pérdida de cabello. No estoy segura si esto era real o sólo mi imaginación, pero estoy bastante segura en que estaba perdiendo demasiado pelo de lo normal. El calor del verano, la sal y el sol puede dañar fácilmente el cabello, especialmente cuando no es tan fuerte.
Ahora tengo una manera muy fácil de cuidar mi pelo y yo quería escribir sobre esto ya que muchas de ustedes me han preguntado acerca de mi rutina para cuidarlo...
1. Naturalidad:: Tengo el pelo normal, no es seco y graso tampoco, así que me lavo el pelo sólo dos o tres veces por semana... En invierno a veces sólo una vez por semana. El agua aquí en Guatemala tiene demasiada sal y eso no es bueno para nuestro cabello. Cada vez que la lavaba se secaba mucho y no me gusta eso. Ademas los aceites naturales protegen el cabello de cosas propias del ambiente.
2. Evitar el calor:: Por todos los medios, simplemente no hacerlo. Yo prefiero secarlo al aire natural.
3. Dejarlo ser:: Uno de los peores hábitos para el cabello es tocarlo, cepillarlo o siempre hacer algo con el. Simplemente hay que dejarlo ser. Cepillarlo sólo una vez al día y nunca cuando esta mojado, alli es cuando se daña aun más.
4. Hacia abajo:: Algo que mi estilista me aconseja es no atarlo mucho. Se secan la puntas, se divide y se rompe el pelo, por lo que no crece rápido ni se hace más fuerte.
5. Aceite para el cabello:: Elegir productos adecuados puede ser un poco caro, yo lo sé. Pero, invertir en un buen aceite para el cabello es esencial y sólo hay que aplicarlo en las puntas.
It's one of those times again, when everything has to do with hair. If you remember last may I got a new look in my hair, I wanted to highlight that part of me but I wasn´t really conscious of all the extra cares I had to make from then... During summer season, i found myself stressing a lot about hair loss. Not sure if this was real or just my imagination, but I'm pretty positive i was loosing way too much hair than normal. It feels like summer's heat, salt and sun can easily damage your hair, especially when it's not that strong.
Now I have a very easy way to take care of my hair and I wanted to write about it since many of you have asked about my hair care routine...
1. Naturality:: I have normal hair, isn't dry and oily either, so I wash my hair only two or three times per week... On winter sometimes only one time per week. Guatemala´s water have too much salt and that´s not nice for our hair. Every time I wash them gets dry and I don´t like that. And the natural oils protect the hair from other environment things.
2. Avoid the hit:: By all means, just don´t do it. I prefer blow drying them with natural air.
3. Let them be:: One of the worst hair habits is to touch them, brush them or always doing something with them. Just let them be. brush only one per day and never when they´re wet, that´s when you damage them the most.
4. Let them down:: Something my hair stylist advised, not to tie them a lot. It dries the tips, splits and breaks the hair, so the hair doesn't grow faster and stronger.
5. Hair Oil:: Choosing the right products could be expensive, I know. But, invest in a good hair oil is essential and you just have to apply it on the tips.
