Una de mis amigas se casara pronto, así que ya la dama de honor esta planificando todo y yo le estoy echando una manita, mas que todo en encontrar lindas ideas para que ella pueda inspirarse y hacer el mejor intento de tener una fiesta de despedida de soltera perfecta. 

One of my friends is getting married soon, so her maid of honor is planning everything for her bridal shower and I'm helping her a little, my collaboration is based in finding nice ideas for her to inspire and make the best attempt to have the perfect bridal shower for our friend.

No he podido dejar de ver y buscar ideas, esto es muy emocionante para mi, me encanta esto de planear fiestas y mas aun si es para mis amigas... Estoy tan obsesionada con tantas lindas ideas que aquí les dejo algunas de mis favoritas pero si quieren ver todas las que he encontrado pueden visitar mi panel de Pinterest en donde estoy recopilando todas las ideas posibles de despedidas de solteras. 

I couldn't stop looking for ideas, this is very exciting for me, I love to plan parties and even more if it is for one of my friends... Animal print & pastel

El día de hoy tengo una cita en la cual me dan una especie de calificación por el trabajo que desempeño, soy abogada y esto es por parte del Estado, así que para mi es muy importante cada año salir muy bien, mas que bien mejor dicho, y siempre me ha ido bien, puedo decir que soy muy responsable con la frente en alto, pero no quería irme sin antes relajarme un poco al escribir un corto post para ustedes. 

Today I have an appointment in which they rate my work, I'm a lawyer and this is a kind of exam from the state, so for me it's very important and every year I want to pass it very well I have to say, and is always like this, I can say I am very responsible with my head held high, but I didn't want to go without relax a little bit by writing a short post for you today.

Una vez les demuestro como el animal print es el neutro perfecto, lo he usado con todo, pero me faltaba usarlo con tonos pastel, y el resultado tal y como lo esperaba fue muy bueno. Así que una vez mas amigas y amigos, les vuelvo a repetir, incluyan el animal print en su closet, empiecen poco a poco y verán que se les hará imprescindible...

Hola a todos...! Hoy quiero contarles que la semana pasada el equipo de Mansión Escarlata me contacto para escribir como invitada una columna en su blog. Ellos querían cambiar la imagen del blog y la temática me aprecia muy interesante ya que seria acerca de iconos de moda. En efecto, no es casualidad que la modelo de su nueva imagen tenga aires de Twiggy, que en mi criterio se ve hermosa. Para mi es como wow! que mi columna este representada por nuestra top guatemalteca Marion, quien no solo es bella sino profesional y talentosisima. 

Hello everyone ...! Today I want to tell you that last week I was chosen by the Escarlata Mansion team to write a column on their blog. They wanted to change the blog image  and it was a very interesting topic about fashion icons. In fact, it's no coincidence that the new image had a model with Twiggy air, which in my opinion looks beautiful. For me it's like wow! my column is represented by our guatemalan top Marion, who is not only beautiful but she´s very talented professional.

Vemos como cada vez mas estos diseñadores y sus diseños se expanden y yo como su colaboradora no podría estar mas orgullosa, son muy talentosos y trabajan muy duro y a conciencia. Para mi es mas que un honor haber sido la primera mujer que escribe para ellos y mas aun porque el tema que querían que tocara fue muy inspirador trabajarlo.

We can see that these designers and their designs are expanded and as their collaborator I couldn't be more proud, they're talented and very hard working. For me it's more than an honor to have been the first woman to write for them and even more because the subject they wanted to share was very inspiring to work.

Veggie Quesadillas

Semana nueva, ideas nuevas, cosas nuevas que hacer y clima nuevo, hace una semana hacia muchísimo calor y hoy estamos en medio de un clima húmedo y frió, así es mi Guatemala, linda e impredecible... 

New week, new ideas, new things to do and new weather, a week ago it was very hot and today we're in the middle of a humidity and cold, so this is my Guatemala, beautiful  and unpredictable...

El día de hoy les traigo una receta deliciosa, en serio, tienen que hacerla. Ya saben que estoy tratando de comer lo mas saludable posible, pues acá nos gustan mucho las quesadillas, nos encantan, y ya saben que las quesadillas de pollo son muy ricas (ver receta aquí), pero ahora me he preparado unas de puros vegetales, y como lo espere son deliciosas también. 

Today I bring you a delicious recipe, seriously, you really have to make this one. You know I'm trying to eat as healthy as possible, and we really like quesadillas, we love them, and you know that the chicken quesadillas are delicious (click here to see the recipe), but now I have prepared veggie quesadillas, and they're delicious as well.

Ingredientes / Ingredients::

1 Zuchini en rodajas delgadas / 1 Zucchini sliced ​​thin

4 tomates en rodajas / 4  sliced tomatoes

1 cebolla morada cortada en trocitos / 1 diced purple onion 

1 lata pequeña de maíz / 1 small corn can

1 chile pimiento rojo en rodajas / 1 red chili pepper sliced

1/2 libra de queso oaxaca rallado / 1/2 pound of grated Oaxaca cheese

tortillas de harina grandes / large flour tortillas

sal y pimienta al gusto / salt and pepper

1. Poner en una plancha a calentar las tortillas. / On a griddle heat the tortillas.

2. Hacer una capa de queso cobre ellas. / Make a layer of cheese on them.

3. Colocar primero el zuchini luego el chile pimiento, después la cebolla, el tomate y por ultimo el maíz, aquí es el momento de salpimentar, yo no uso pimienta, solo un poco de sal. / Now make a layer with zucchini first then the red pepper, then onion, tomato and corn finally, this is the moment to add salt and pepper, I don't use pepper, I only add a little salt.

4. Volver a hacer una capa de queso sobre los vegetales Y cerrar la tortilla con otra sobre ella. / Again make a layer of cheese all over the vegetables and close the tortilla with another one on it.

5. Voltear la tortilla luego de dos minutos. / Turn the tortilla after two minutes.

6. Retirar y partir por mitad y luego otra vez por mitad, y te quedaran estas cuatro porciones por tortilla. / Remove off the griddle and split in half and then in half again, and you'll have these four portions per tortilla.

Es una receta sencilla y saludable, ya que los vegetales van crudos y al cocinarlos solo se ablandan un poco pero quedan perfectos y crocantes para comerlos.  Nosotros lo acompañamos con aguacate y una crema de frijol. Es el almuerzo o la cena perfecta para estos días fríos. Espero que la preparen en casa y me cuenten si les ha gustado tanto como a mi y a mi familia.
It's a simple and healthy recipe, because vegetables are raw and when we cooked them  is only to soft them a little bit but are perfect and crunchy to eat. We eat this course with avocado and bean cream. It's the perfect lunch or dinner for these cold days. I hope you prepare this at home and tell me if you liked it as much as me and my family do.

Black and ruffles

Hola amigos, espero estén pasando un lluvioso pero hermoso fin de semana... EL post de hoy es un look muy sencillo pero muy femenino. A veces siento muchos deseos de sentirme femenina, y como saben lo clásico nunca pasa, así que estas piezas sencillas como lo son un pantalón negro y una blusa con vuelos no hacen que un outfit sea aburrido pero tampoco extravagante. Era la cuota de feminidad que necesitaba ese día, las milk maid braids son un toque perfecto y a mi opinión ideal para sentir que tengo una pequeña corona sobre mi cabeza... Y como siempre, mis accesorios favoritos, un clutch, no se porque se han vuelto necesarios en mi forma de vestir, simplemente me encantan... 

Hello my friends, I hope you're having a rainy but beautiful weekend... Today's post is a very simple but very feminine look. Sometimes I just need to feel feminine, and as you know classic pieces never passed, so with these simple pieces as black pants and a blouse with ruffles an outfit will never be boring or extravagant. It was the perfect femininity measure I needed that day, the milkmaid braids are a perfect touch and in my opinion ideal because makes me feel that I have a little crown on my head... And as always, my favorite accessories, a clutch, they have become necessary in my life, I just love them...

 

Espero pasen un fin de semana muy bueno, y cierro diciendo hoy que con piezas muy sencillas podemos lograr un atuendo femenino y muy clásico ya que agregando los accesorios y peinados correctos no se ve tan simple como imaginábamos... Abrazos a todos...
