Black and white animal print, oxblood nails and a windy day

¿Cómo fue tu fin de semana? Mi fin de semana comenzó el viernes, y comenzó bastante mal, mi niña se rompió el brazo, así que fue una emergencia muy triste de vivir, me he vuelto más fuerte desde que soy madre, pero a veces tengo que decirme a mí misma: Diana se fuerte! ¡Se fuerte! no llores! no llores! Fue doloroso ver a mi princesa con ese dolor, pero al mismo tiempo estoy muy agradecida, Dios es bueno, y sé que Él trajo gente especial para que la asistieran, los médicos  eran agradables y dulces, la trataban muy bien y le dabas golosinas, así que todo se sentía mas suave sabes lo que quiero decir. Por favor, si tu ora, espero que lo hagas, ruega por el brazo de mi niña y por sus  huesos, quiero que cure pronto, ese es el deseo de cualquier mamá ...

How was your weekend? My weekend started on friday, and started pretty bad, my little girl broke her arm, so that was a pretty sad emergency to live, I´ve become stronger since I´m a mom, but some times I have to tell myself: Diane be strong! be strong! don´t cry! don´t cry! It was painful to see my princess with that pain, but at the same time I´m grateful, God is good, and I know he brought special people to attended her, nice and sweet doctors, they treated her nicely and gave her treats, so everything felt like softer you know what I mean. Please if you pray, I hope you do, pray for my little girl arm and bones, I want her to heal soon, that´s any mom´s desire...

Ayer fue un día muy, muy, muy lleno de viento, fue tan difícil de tomar todas estas fotos, pero también fue muy divertido, mi pelo era un desastre, tenía el pelo por toda la cara, pero espero que les guste, es un traje blanco y negro. En estas últimas semanas, he visto mucho blanco y negro en todas las semanas de la moda, que me inspiraron a ponerme mis pantalones de animal print y pense que para dar un poco de color las uñas y los labios oxblood era perfecto. Yo creé una tabla de inspiración de outfits en negro y blanco en Pinterest hace mucho tiempo, por lo que deberias de  verla para obtener algunas ideas ...

Yesterday was a very , very, very windy day, it was so hard to take all these photos, but it was also so much fun, my hair was a mess, my hair was all over my face, but I hope you like it, is a black and white outfit. In these last weeks, I´ve seen a lot black and white in all fashion weeks, that inspired me to wear my animal print pants and to give some color, I thought oxblood nails and lips was the perfect match. I´ve created a black and white outfit inspirational board on pinterest long time ago, so you should see it to get some ideas...

cold days again

Los días fríos han regresado a Guatemala, este fin de semana es de abrigos largos, no esperábamos este cambio repentino de clima, pero a la vez creo que lo necesitábamos luego de estos días de tanto calor, espero que su fin de semana vaya muy bien hasta ahora... 

Cold days are back in Guatemala, we have to wear long coats this weekend, we didn´t expect this sudden weather change, but at the same time I think we all needed it after all these hot days, I hope you're having a wonderful weekend so far...

Ya saben que me he propuesto ver una película de amor todos los domingos, les comente en otro post que era una de mis resoluciones de este 2013. Así que estas fueron algunas de las películas que disfrute este mes que acaba de terminar. Seguro las han visto todos, que les parece cada una de ellas?

I told you in other post that one of my goals this year is watch a love movie every single sunday. So these were some movies I saw on february that's just ended. I'm sure you've seen these movies, what do you think of each one?

Beauty tips

Recuerdan que al anunciar el aniversario del blog, les comente que en este nuevo año quería integrar nuevos temas en el mismo, bueno ya incluí el primero que fue acerca de los estilos de la calle (lo puedes ver aquí), y hoy quiero incluir otro acerca de tips de belleza. Realmente todas las mujeres nos preocupamos por nuestro aspecto lo cual no es malo, siempre y cuando no se convierta en vanidad. Esta en nuestra naturaleza el querer vernos y sentirnos lindas, saludables y hermosas, creo que por eso Dios nos creo en un jardín lleno de flores y aromas deliciosos, en el Jardín del Edén.

With the blog anniversary announcement I told you I wanted to add some categories to the blog this new year, I´ve already included the first about street styles (you can see it here), and today I want to add a new one about beauty tips. All the womens worries about our look and that's not wrong, as long as in not only for vanity. The desire of feel and look pretty, healthy and beautiful is in our nature, I think is because God created us in a garden full with flowers and delicious scents, in the Eden Garden.

En este entendido, iniciare con estos tips de belleza, espero les parezcan interesantes y los pongan en practica, y si tienes mas tips de belleza compártelos con nosotras en los comentarios abajo o mándalos a mi correo, facebook o twitter y yo te daré todo el crédito. 

With that in mind, I'll start with these beauty tips, I hope you find this interesting and you practice them, if you have more beauty tips you can share them with us in the comments below or by sending them to my email, facebook or twitter, I´ll give you all the credits.

1. Rejuvenece con el baño:: Para devolver juventud a la piel y también para mejorar nuestro animo,  podemos agregar hojas de menta o de romero a la bañera, también ralladura de limón, naranja o jengibre. 

1. Rejuvenate by taking a bath:: To return youth to the skin and to have a better humor also, we can add mint or rosemary leaves to the bath, the lemon, orange or ginger zest also works.

2. Labios agrietados:: No se ustedes, pero yo que tengo labios gruesos y a veces se forman grietas en ellos y he descubierto que para tenerlos tersos podemos pasarnos un cepillo de dientes con vaselina, eso ayuda a exfoliarnos.

2. Chapped Lips:: I don´t know you, but I have fat lips and some times they crack and I discovered that I can have soft lips by passing a tooth brush with vaseline all over them, and that acts as an exfoliate.

3.Cicatrices:: Cuando las cicatrices son recientes, no es necesario recurrir a la cirugía, tu puedes poner un poco de sabila en sus cicatrices y eso la eliminará, si tu cicatriz ya es una muy madura puede que no las quite del todo pero si las difuminaras.

3. Scars:: When scars are new, it´s no need to having surgery, you can put some aloe on your scar and that will remove it, if your scar is a very mature one and cannot be removed entirely, it surely be more faded.

4. Ejercicio:: Si no tienes el habito de hacer ejercicio, yo te animo a que empieces a ejercitarte por lo menos 10 minutos al día, lo disfrutaras, eliminaras impurezas, regularas tu sueño, abrirás tus poros, y mejoraras tu sistema nervioso, etc. etc. etc... Los beneficios son infinitos, empieza con 10 minutos y luego tu cuerpo ira pidiéndote mas, y así iras aumentando.

4. Exercise:: If you don´t have the habit of exercising, I encourage you to start at less 10 minutes each day, you´ll enjoy it, you´ll eliminate toxins, your sleep time will be regular, your pores will open, and you will improve your nervous system, etc. etc. etc... The benefits are infinite, start with 10 minutes and your body will ask you for more and more.

Hello shorts and legs...

Hola! Ayer me despedía de las capas de ropa acogedora y de las botas, y hoy le digo HOLA a la ropa mas ligera y fresca, como les decía ayer, las temperaturas por acá están hasta arriba y por ejemplo hoy,  la luna se ve anaranjada, hace calor, mucho calor, espero ustedes estén disfrutando mucho del clima que este posándose en sus países  mientras tanto yo hoy digo, hola de nuevo a mis shorts... 

Hello! Yesterday I said goodbye to the cozy layers and boots, and today I say HI to  the light and fresh clothes, as I told you yesterday temperatures are very high here and today for example the moon looks orange, it´s hot, very hot, I hope you´re enjoying the weather in your countries while I´m saying hello again to my shorts...

Fue difícil tomar estas fotos, las tomamos en casa de una amiga y su bebe se paseaba frente a la cámara justo cuando ella disparaba la cámara jajaja... al final salieron algunas...
These photos were hard to take, I was on my friend´s house and her baby was walking in front of the camara just when my friend was shooting lol... but we have some of them...

Different prints and goodbye cozy layers

Flores, lineas y puntos al mismo tiempo, estampados distintos, pero los estoy usando juntos porque todo tiene en común su color, blanco y negro... Creo que estos son unos de los últimos días que usare capas en mi ropa y botas ya que la temperatura cambio, y esta hasta arriba... yo se que a mis amigas europeas les quedan un par de meses fríos y desde aquí les envió todos mis ánimos  pero a mis amigas norteamericanas les animo a disfrutar de la primavera, y en ese mismo sentir, disfrutemos del clima, sea cual sea el que nuestro país nos brinde, los atardeceres son diferentes dependiendo de la estación, quisiera tener una gran fuerza de voluntad para levantarme a contemplar los amaneceres, pero no la poseo, imagino que la mañana debe ser maravillosa... 

Flowers, stripes and polka dots in the same outfit, different prints, but I´m wearing them all together because they have a common color, black and white... I think these will be our last days wearing layers and boots because weather have changed, and temperature is very high now... I know my european friends have two or three cold months still and I send you all my encouragement, to my north american friends good for you, spring has come! so I encourage you to enjoy it, and in this same feeling I encourage all of you to enjoy the weather no matter wich it is, sunsets are different depending of the season, I wish I have the will to wake up early in the morning to seesun rising, but I don´t have it, however I can imagine sun rising, it should be wonderful...
