It was my birthday

Si me preguntan cual es mi cumpleaños perfecto, bueno, les diría, que debería de ser un día tranquilo, relajado, en la playa o piscina, con mi familia y mucho chocolate. Gracias a Dios tuve eso y mas este fin de semana, compartir con las personas que mas amo es el mejor regalo, y disfrutar de su amor y compañía es mas que suficiente... 

Mi hermana hizo estas tiernas paletas de pastel para mi, y ademas había pastel de chocolate, así que no pude haber pedido mas para quedar satisfecha. Gracias a todos los que me dejaron saludos y deseos en mis redes sociales, ustedes son los mejores lectores que podría pedir. 

No se olviden que estamos de sorteo con Forever 21 en Instagram y Facebook...!!!

If you ask me how my perfect birthday would be, I would say, it should be a quiet day, relaxing on the beach or pool, with my family and lots of chocolate. Thank God I had that and more last weekend, share with the people I love is the best gift, and enjoy their love and companion is enough...

My sister made these cute little cake pops for me, and I also had chocolate cake, so I couldn´t have asked for more to be satisfied. Thanks to everyone who wrote greetings and wishes in my social networks, you are the best readers I could ask for.

Kites in the sky

Guatemala es un país lleno de tradiciones, comparto muchas de ellas aunque la mayoría de veces no las practico o disfruto. Noviembre no es la excepción, el primero comemos una comida especial llamada fiambre, es deliciosa y todos esperamos cada noviembre solo para poder comerlo. Pero también noviembre es el mes en que el viento sopla muy fuerte y vuelan muchos barriletes por doquier...

En cualquier lugar tú puedes comprar un barrilete en esta época, de todas formas, colores y tamaños. Antigua Guatemala cada vez me sorprende más, el pasado fin de semana descubrimos que sobre la carretéra a Dueñas, hay un lugar hermoso, entre los volcanes que se presta perfecto para volar barriletes. Cierran las calles solo para que todas las personas puedan ir a volar barriletes, era como una fiesta de barriletes pintoresca, fue hermoso, el objetivo de todos era lograr volar un barrilete... 

Pero el centro de atracción fue el atardecer sobre los volcanes de Fuego y Acatenango, simplemente te dejaba sin aliento, no soy la mejor fotógrafa pero les traigo algunas fotos para que puedan ver de lo que estoy hablando...

Guatemala is a country full with traditions, I share many of them but most of times I don´t practice or enjoy all these. This month isn't an exception, on november first we eat a special meal called Fiambre, is delicious and we all wait for the next November just to eat it. But November is the month when winds are stronger and many kites fly everywhere...

You can buy a kite anywhere at this time of the year, of all shapes, colors and sizes. Antigua Guatemala surprised me, last weekend we discovered on the road to Dueñas, a beautiful place, between the vulcanos that lends itself perfectly for flying kites. The streets is closed just to all people can go fly their kites, it was like a kite´s colorful feast, it was beautiful, everyone's goal was to fly a kite...

But the center of attraction was the sunset all over the vulcanos Fuego and Acatenango, just breathe taking, I'm not the best photographer but I bring you some pictures so you can see what I'm talking about...

Rainy holiday

Hace aproximadamente un mes estaba en este lugar, respirando aire puro mientras dormía al lado de la piscina, entre una ligera pero fresca lluvia... Hoy mientras llego una vez más a este lugar, me pongo a pensar en la tranquilidad profunda que la lluvia me da, puedo llegar al punto de relajación donde casi puedo decir OOOMMM... y no soy fan del yoga pero si de una mente en paz.

La lluvia se quedara con nosotros un poco más así que más vale ver la belleza de su compañía. Este fin de semana es largo para nosotros en Guatemala, celebramos la independencia el día 15, así que hemos tomado un poco de este descanso para salir de la ciudad. Aun con la lluvia como obstáculo para broncearnos es cuestión de ver lo positivo y tal vez no disfrutar tanto del sol pero si del pacifico sonido y aroma de la lluvia... 

Les dejo algunas fotos de la última vez que estuve aquí, la lluvia hace que todo se vea muy verde y algunas flores incluso han brotado ya, hermoso no creen?

About a month ago I was in this place, breathing fresh air while I was sleeping next to the pool, with some fresh showers around... Today while we were on our way once again, I start thinking about the deep peace rain can give me I can get to the relaxation point where I can almost say OM... and I'm not a fan of yoga but I am a fan of a peaceful mind.

The rain will stay with us for a little longer, so you it’s better to see the beauty of it and enjoy. We are having a long weekend in Guatemala, celebrating Independence Day on September 15, so we've taken a little break to get out of our city. Even with the rain as an obstacle to a tan is a matter of seeing the positive, not gonna enjoy the sun but I’ll enjoy the peaceful sound and smell of rain...

Here some photos of the last time I was here, the rain highlights the colours of nature, everything very green and some flowers have even bloomed, its beautiful don´t you think?

{Hace exactamente una semana celebrábamos la despedida de soltera de una de mis mejores amigas de toda la vida... disfrute tanto volver a verla, compartir etc... No cabe duda que las mejores siempre permaneces... / Exactly a week ago we celebrated the bachelorette party of one of my best friends of my whole life... I really enjoy seeing her again, sharing with all the girls there, etc... There´s no doubt the best always remain...}

I had a great time, I had fun as a child...}

Hola a todos!!! Estaba revisando y en todo Junio y lo que va de Julio no escribí sobre las cosas pequeñas... Realmente me siento muy mal por no haberlo hecho, porque si estaban pasando cosas que disfrutaba pero por falta de tiempo o por cumplir con post patrocinados deje a un lado mi sección favorita. No dejare que esto pase en las próximas semanas, es difícil, cada vez estoy mas corta de tiempo, y la verdad dejare que suceda si es solamente por priorizar seguir disfrutando de las cosas pequeñas...

Hello everyone! I was checking and throughout June and July I didn't write about the little things... I really feel very bad for not having done so, because I did had things I enjoyed but for lack of time or meet with sponsored posts I kinda did set aside my favorite section . I will not let this happen again, it's hard, I'm increasingly shorter of time, and the truth this is gonna happen if only by prioritizing the reality of enjoy the little things...

{La ciudad donde ahora vivo (Antigua Guatemala), es única, es especial, tiene detalles tan hermosos y he notado últimamente que uno de sus mas especiales detalles arquitectónicos son las puertas de cada lugar, casa etc. Estaré mostrando algunas de mis favoritas en estos posts, mi deseo es hacer una galería personal con estos hermosos detalles...  Esta es una puerta nueva de lo que sera próximamente una tienda, es verde, eso fue lo que me gusto de ella, contrasta muy bien con las paredes amarillas... /  The city where I live (Antigua Guatemala), is unique, special, has such beautiful details and I´ve noticed lately that one of its most special architectural things are the doors of each place, house etc.. I will be showing some of my favorite in these posts, my desire is to make a personal gallery with these beautiful details... This is a new door to what will soon be a store, it's green, that's what I liked about it, makes a nice contrast with the yellow walls...}

Enjoy the little things

Siento que es mucho el tiempo que tengo sin escribir un post de las cosas pequeñas,pero no ha sido tanto, solo asi se percibe... primero quiero contarles que mi vida aqui en Antigua Guatemala es mas pacifica, lo cual me ha permitido enfocarme en cosas importantes como es mi familia, buenos amigos etc... Cada vez me doy cuenta como Dios permite cambios a veces en nuestra vida y que siempre son buenos. Este cambio de ciudad ha sido muy bueno para mi y aqui hay algunas cosas que disfrute esta semana...

I feel it has passed a lot of time since I wrote a post about the little things, but isn´t that much... first I want to share with you that my life here in Antigua Guatemala is so peaceful, which has allowed me to focus more in important things like my family, good friends etc... I realize how God sometimes allows changes in our lives and are always good. This city change has been good for me and here are some things I enjoyed this week...

 {He descubierto una panaderia aqui en Antigua donde puedo comprar estas empanadas bebe, hay dulces y saladas, son muy ricas y muy baratas, el martes compre de todos los sabores para que unos amigos que venian a visitarnos pudiesen probar todas... / I found a bakery here in Antigua where I can buy these baby pies, sweet or salty, they are delicious and too cheap, on Tuesday I bought  one of every flavor for some friends who came to visit us so they could try them all...}

 {Me siento muy bien rodeada de flores, esta semana elegi claveles, me encanto este color como amarillo limon, es vibrante, alegre y colorido, exactamente lo que necesitaba para estos dias grises... / I feel great surrounded by flowers, I chose carnations this week, I loved this yellow lemon color, is vibrant, lively and colorful, exactly what I needed for these gray days...}

 {Ustedes no lo podran creer pero me estoy volviendo un poco diestra en el tema de la jardineria, mi esposo se ha tomado la tarea de arreglar el jardin y lo esta dejando cada vez mas bello. Hemos dejado un lugar para poner flores y ayer una amiga me regalo estas, inmediatamente las transplante a mi jardin y estoy deseosa de ver cuando se abran sus flores... / You're not gonna believe this but I'm getting a little skilled in the gardening thing, hubby has taken the task of fixing the garden and is leaving it more and more beautiful. We chose a place to put flowers on it and yesterday a friend gave me these flowers, I immediately transplanted them to my garden and I'm eager to see when the flowers bloom...}

 {La mañana del sabado mi pequeña llego corriendo a mi cama y grito "Feliz dia de la madre!!!", yo literalmente salte jajajajaja... Luego me dio un regalo, y dentro venia esta bolsa que hizo con la ayuda de su maestra en el colegio, esto fue demasiado especial, no tienen idea, fue algo hermoso que queda en la memoria de mi corazon... / Last Saturday morning my little girl came running to my bed and scream "Happy Mother's Day!", I literally got up LOL... Then she gave me a gift, and it was this bag made ​​by her with her teacher's help at school, this was too special, you have no idea, it was something beautiful that is in my heart's memory...}

{Y por ultimo, una taza de chocolate caliente para estos dias frios, muy frios. Esta taza tiene una frase que resuena en mi cabeza, y como dice el abuelo de mi esposo, el dia de la madre es todos los dias, no locreen ustedes tambien...? / And finally, a cup of hot chocolate for these cold days, very cold days. This mug has a phrase that remains in my head, and as hubby's grandfather says, Mother's Day is every single day, do you think the same?...}

Enjoy the summer little things

One of the advantages about living in Antigua is you can find everything fresh. I had never seen fresh thyme before and now I have it in my kitchen.}
