DIY Beauty:: Skin Tonic

Hola, como están?, gracias por sus likes y comentarios en el ultimo post. Gracias también a todos los que estuvieron al pendiente de mis ojos, yo creí que era algo infeccioso, pero no, simplemente mis ojos aun no se adaptan a los tapones en mis ojos y eso causo irritación, pero nada que un poco de medicina no alivie, ya me siento mucho mejor hoy.

Thanks also to everyone who was on the lookout for my eyes, I thought it was something infectious, but not just my eyes still do not fit the plugs in my eyes and it caused irritation, but nothing that a little medicine will not relieve , I feel much better today.

Hoy quiero compartirles una de mis recetas caseras de belleza, este es un tónico y astringente natural que me enseñaron hace poco a hacer en casa. A mi piel le ha hecho bastante bien, y es para todo tipo de pieles, eso es lo mejor. No solo lo utilizo al limpiar mi rostro sino que cuando hace mucho calor lo utilizo en lugar del agua termal que usaba antes, y he logrado sentir los beneficios. Así que espero que lo hagan y me cuenten pronto que tal les ha caído a ustedes.

Today I want to share one of my homemade beauty recipes, this is a natural astringent tonic that a friend recently taught me to do at home. My skin has felt pretty well, and the best part is that is for all skin types. I Not only use it to clean my face but when it's hot I use it in place of the thermal water that I used before, and I do feel the benefits. So I hope you do it and let me know soon your results.

Primero, debes tener rosas, el color no importa, solo queremos los pétalos, no los tallos ni las hojas, el equivalente a una taza de pétalos de rosa. Y lo pones en una olla con agua, esto debe hervir junto con una cucharada aproximadamente de tomillo.

The first thing is that you have to buy roses, it doesn´t matter the color, we only need the petals, not the stems or leaves, the equivalent of a cup of rose petals. And you have to put it in a pot with water, this should boil with about a tablespoon of thyme.

Luego de hervir por aproximadamente 3 minutos, te quedara un agua parecida a esta. La cual vas a pasar por un colador y la almacenaras en un bote de vidrio en el refrigerador. Esto es muy fácil.

After boiling it for about three minutes, you´ll have a water that seems like this. Strain the water and store it in a glass jar in the refrigerator. This is very easy.

Para utilizarlo en tu rostro, debes tener un bote con atomizador, yo compre este de acero inoxidable, ya que debe llegar a tu rostro en forma de roció, y no como gotas de agua.

To use it on your face, you have to buy bottle with spray, I bought this and is stainless steel, because it should come to your face in a dew way, and not in water drops way.

Ok, ahora hablemos de los beneficios. / Ok, let's talk about the benefits now.

Propiedades / Properties::

- Relaja:: ayuda a que los signos de agotamiento desaparezcan. / Relax:: helps to disappear exhaustion signs.

- Desinflama:: Ideal para las bolsas de ojos cansados. / Deflate:: Ideal for tired eye bags.

- Alto contenido de vitaminas B, C y D, y antioxidantes:: genera células cutáneas. Es muy utilizada para piles con estrías. / High in vitamins B, C and D, and antioxidants :: generates skin cells. Is widely used for piles with stretch marks.

- Antiséptica:: Eficaz en el acné rosáceo, impide que se infecte. / Antiseptic :: Effective in pink acne, prevents infection.

Así que son varios los beneficios, pero algo que yo he notado y mucho en mi piel es la suavidad que mantiene. Así que ya saben si son como yo que se inclinan por lo natural, este es una receta, fácil, accesible y beneficiosa para tu piel.

Red lips never fail

Hola a todos mis amigos de la blogosfera... Hoy es sábado, yeeyyy... Hoy para mi es un que quiero permanecer en casa, necesito organizar muchas cosas aquí en mi oficina, y el lunes tengo un día cargado de trabajo, así que es mejor si planifico y ordeno todo antes.

Mi outfit de hoy es tan sencillo y cómodo pero a la vez con un giro, me encanto vestir esto, la verdad fue algo que escogí a ultimo minuto, pero es de estos días en que te sientes wow! Este pantalón solo lo he doblado tres veces hacia arriba, y la verdad parecen como si no fueren míos sino de mi esposo pero no lo son, son pantalones que tengo de mis años donde era mas gordita y ahora me quedan así, y como yo no desecho sino re-uso aun los tengo en mi closet. Y este bolso que ven por vez primera ha sido un regalo de una amiga de mi hermana, es vintage, ella ha sido tan linda de pensar en mi y regalármelo, ella me dijo que había notado que me gustaban los clutch y por eso me lo regalaba, así que muchas gracias Mirna por este regalo... 

My outfit today is so simple and comfy but with a twist, I love this outfit, the truth is that it´s something I chose at the last minute, but is one of those days when you feel wow! These pants I just doubled up like three times, and the truth is that they appear as if they aren´t mine, looks like they´re boyfriend jeans and they are not,  I have these pair of jeans for a long time ago, when I was more chubby, however, you know  I re-use and that´s why I still have them in my closet. And this bag that you see for the first time has been a gift from a friend of my sister, is vintage, she has been so nice to think of me and give it to me, she told me she had noticed I liked clutchs a lot so she gave it to me, so thank you very much Mirna for this gift...

Mis labios rojos nunca fallan, esta vez quería dar color al outfit, ya tenia el azul klein, el blanco y negro, pero algo faltaba, así que mis labios rojos nunca fallan y hacia mucho no los pintaba así, como siempre quedaron perfectos... Quiero contarles que al recibir muchos elogios sobre mis labios rojos regreso en mi mente a los tiempos de estudiante, en el colegio, la verdad tenia muchos complejos sobre mis labios, tengo labios gruesos, y recuerdo que algunas amigas me hacían sentir mal por tener una boca grande, a veces yo misma trataba de esconderla, oh si, yo tenia mis inseguridades, pero con el tiempo aprendí a aceptarme tal y como era, ahora amo mis labios, es mas, me preocupa que ya no sean tan gruesos como antes, y los cuido mucho, y los pinto rojos para destacarlos aun mas porque me encantan. Y ahora veo que mis labios que antes me hacían sentir insegura nunca me fallan...

Últimamente hemos estado tomando fotos en este lugar, es un edificio en construcción, y afortunadamente lo llevan muy lento, así que creo que seguiré usando este escenario...

Hola amigos, muchas gracias por sus comentarios y mensajes estos días. El miércoles tenia programado un pequeño procedimiento para mis ojos, fue horrible, pero necesario, ahora mis ojos se sienten mucho mejor y casi no siento la necesidad de usar ya los lentes, así que es pronta y buena la mejoría, mi Dr. tenia mucha razón. Sin embargo, como algunos vieron en instagram (petitdi), estaba muy nerviosa, tanto que empece a llorar cuando me pusieron la anestesia en mis ojos, eso me dolió pero no tenia idea que lo que seguía seria mas doloroso, lo fue, pero tal como mi corazón me decía, valió la pena! Y hoy aquí les dejo las cosas pequeñas de esta semana...

Hello everyone... thank you very much for your comments and messages the past days. On Wednesday I had  scheduled  a little procedure for my eyes, it was horrible, but necessary, now my eyes feel much better and I almost don't feel the need to use my glasses, so the improvement it's prompt and good, my Dr. was right about that. However, as some of you saw on instagram (petitdi), I was very nervous, so nrevous that I started to cry when they put the anesthesia in my eyes, that hurt me but I had no idea that what was next would be more painful, it was, but as my heart told me it was worth it! And now here are the little things of this week...

Black, polka dots and goodbye dry eyes

Hola a todos! Gracias por sus muchas visitas ayer. El clima aquí en Guatemala esta muy caliente, y nosotros no hemos podido salir a descansar, no se pero cuando hay sol hay una sensación en el aire como de ir a la playa, y nosotros hemos estado muy ocupados sin poder ir... El outfit hoy es principalmente negro, es algo que use para ir al Club en una oportunidad, cuando vamos yo suelo pasar horas en el sauna, y un poco de tiempo en la piscina, tendré que programar una escapadita ya que creo que lo necesito mucho...

Hello everyone! Thank you for all your visits yesterday. The weather here in Guatemala is very hot, and we haven't rest, I don't know but when it's sunny here's a feeling in the air like going to the beach, and we have been very busy and unable to go... The outfit today is mostly black, is something I wore to go to the club on one occasion, when we go I usually spend hours in the sauna, and a bit of time in the pool, I have to schedule a getaway because I think I need it so much...

Hoy estoy un poco nerviosa, hoy me harán un procedimiento en los ojos, padezco de ojos secos, casi no produzco lagrimas así que hoy pondrán unos tapones en mis ojos que me ayudaran a retener las lagrimas, no es nada invasivo pero aun así me pongo nerviosa, son mis ojos!!! Espero esto ayude a que mis ojos no se irriten mas, confio mucho en mi Dr. y en su clínica, así que solo me queda estar tranquila... 

I'm a little nervous, today I'll have a procedure in my eyes, I suffer of dry eyes, I almost don't produce tears so today my Dr. will put plugs in my eyes to help me to hold the tears, it's not invasive at all but still I get nervous, these are my eyes! I hope this helps to not get irritate my eyes anymore, I have great confidence in my Dr. and in his clinic, so I can only be quiet  and I´ll let you know tomorrow how do I feel...

Hasta mañana, seguro los veré con mejores ojos...

DIY:: Turning old soap pumps into vases

Los primeros accesorios para mis baños que compre fueron estas jaboneras, por todos lados tenían etiquetas de acero inoxidable, pero que creen? no lo eran, y como este blog se trata sobre hacer amigos y buenas relaciones y no enemigos no mencionare la tienda donde los adquirimos, pero fueron una estafa... 

The first accessories we purchase for the bathrooms were these soap pumps, these had everywhere and with big words stainless steel labels, but guess what? they were not, and as this blog is about making friends and good relationships and not enemies I will not mention the store where we acquired, but they were a scam...

Hace mucho los retire de mi baño debido a ese inconveniente, y el fin de semana pasado mi empleada los encontró y me puse a pensar que podía reutilizarlos, ya saben que mientras mas verdes mejor, así que veamos a continuación como los convertí en floreros...

Long ago I removed them from my bathrooms because of that problem, and last weekend my house keeper found them and I thought I could reuse them, you know that if we get greener is better, so let's see how these horrible pieces became into vases...

1. Retire los dispensadores. / I removed the dispensers.

2. Los lave. / Wash them.

3. Les coloque cinta adhesiva, uno a la mitad y otro verticalmente. / I put tape, one on the half and in the other one vertically.

4. Con pintura blanca removible para ventanas, o para vidrio, que compras en cualquier tienda de manualidades pinte las partes que había dejado expuestas. / With removable white paint for windows, or glass, you can shop it at any craft store, paint the parts exposed.

5. Retire la cinta adhesiva. / Remove the tape.

6. Y tan solo en pocos pasos tengo estos floreros que puedo volver a usar en el baño... / And with a few steps I have these vases that I can re-use in the bathroom...

O en alguna otra parte que yo desee... / Or somewhere else if I want to...

Que les ha parecido la propuesta de este proyecto, la verdad esta super fácil y lo mas importante es que reutilizas algo que ya tienes en casa, así que las animo a hacer este proyecto verde en casa... Abrazos para todos y ya mañana es viernes..!!!

Como podrán ver el mes estuvo entretenido... / As you can see the month was entertaining...

{No había visto esta película aunque llamaba mi atención, realmente me gusto porque soy abogada y tiene un lado legal muy muy interesante, mi tesis fue de la emancipación de menores y la película toca este tema amarrado de la medicina y el amor de familia, realmente es una trama muy intensa pero interesante al mismo tiempo... / I hadn´t seen this movie but it always caught my attention, I really like it because I'm a lawyer and it has a very very interesting legal side, my thesis was about the minors emancipation and the film touches this theme tied with medicine and family love, really is a very intense movie but interesting at the same time...}

{Ok, esta la pasan a cada rato en la TV, y la veo porque me gusta mucho Ralph Fiennes, jajaja... Sin embargo, tiene su lado social, es decir, las madres solteras abundan y la vida desde esa perspectiva es muy diferente y difícil a veces, así que no es propiamente la Cenicienta que tenai un hada pero creo que cualquier mujer independientemente de su situación tiene derecho a soñar y trabajar por ello... / You can watch this all the time on TV, and I watch it because I like Ralph Fiennes, LOL...
