Naima Mora press conference

Pues ayer tuve la oportunidad de conocer a Naima Mora, la ganadora de la cuarta temporada de America's Next Top Model y simplemente es un dulce... Ella nos platico del porque esta en el país, de su libro y su nuevo disco, un poco de la historia de su vida, de su familia, y de su carrera como modelo... 

Yesterday I had the opportunity to met Naima Mora, America's Next Top Model fourth season winner and she's just a sweetheart... She told us about thiswhy she's here in the country, her new book and her new album, a little bit of her life history, her family, and her career as a model...

En la ronda de preguntas yo le comente a Naima que una de mis metas en este blog es la de transmitir a las niñas y mujeres no solo ser bonitas o verte bien por fuera sino traer esa belleza desde adentro, y le pedí que nos compartiera siendo ella una mujer hermosa donde había encontrado ella esa esencia, la esencia de ser bella por dentro y exteriorizarlo.

In the questions round commented Naima that one of my goals of this blog is to tell to girls and women not only to be beautiful and look good in the outside but bring that beauty from the inside, and I asked her to share where she had found that essence, the essence of being beautiful inside and show it out.

Ella respondió, que de la timidez y de la duda ella había tomado fuerzas, porque a veces ves a los demás y te da envidia o te preguntas porque yo no tengo eso o aquello, así que de esas inseguridades ella saco la fuerza para ser quien es (esto tiene que ver mucho con la historia de su vida, compra su libro), y que lo mejor que ella ha descubierto que puedes hacer es donde sea y con quien sea solo llevar una sonrisa, esa es la mejor forma de ser bella, sonreír.

She replied, that she took the streght from shyness and doubt, because sometimes you see others and you envious or you wonder why I do not I have this or that?, so of those insecurities she pulled the strength to be who she is (this has much to do with the story of her life, buy her book), and the best thing she can do is smile wherever and with whomever just bring a smile, that's the best way to be beautiful, by your smile.

Max, el diseñador que la ha traído a Guatemala, agradeció y también respondió preguntas. Hablo del significado de su colección en su vida (puedes leerlo aquí), e invito al publico en general a verlo este jueves a las 8:00 pm en el Meat Market de Paseo Cayala, para poder ir debes comprar tu entrada allí o en todoticket. 

Max, the fashion designer who has brought her to Guatemala, thanked and also answered questions. He talked about the significance of his collection in his life (you can read it here), and invite to the general public to see his newest collection this Thursday at 8:00 pm at the Meat Market in Paseo Cayala, for you to go you can buy your ticket there or in todoticket.

Pero, si tu quieres tomarte una foto con Naima, como yo lo hice ayer, comprar su libro, conocerla comprar su disco etc. tu puedes ir hoy a Hard Rock Café desde las 5:30 pm y allí también se estarán vendiendo las entradas para el evento. Debo destacar que Naima no esta aquí solo para modelar sino que ella esta apoyando a Max para que todos estos fondos que se recaudaran sean dados al Hospicio San Jose, que es un hogar de niños con sida, así que es una muy noble causa para poder apoyarla. 

But, if you want to take a picture with Naima, as I did yesterday, buy her book, buy her new album or just get to meet her etc. Today you can go to Hard Rock Cafe at 5:30 pm, and there will be also selling tickets for the event. I have to say that Naima is not here only to model but she is supporting Max for all these funds collected to be given to Hospicio San Jose, which is a home for children with AIDS, so it's a very noble cause to support it.

Y ahora lo que ustedes siempre quieren ver, lo que use ayer para la conferencia de prensa de Naima Mora, quiero decir que ayer fue un día de locos para mi, no me di cuanta de las horas y de repente ya era hora de ir al evento, así que solo tome un outfit básico, para mi el animal print se ha convertido en un básico, así que use mis shorts, una camisa negra y un blazer negro, bolso dorado y eso fue todo... 

And now what you always want to see, whatI wore yesterday for Naima Mora press conference, but first let me tell you that yesterday was a crazy day for me, I didn't realize how fast hours went and suddenly it was time to go to the event, so I just took a basic outfit, for me the animal print has become a basic, so I used my animal print shorts, a black shirt and a black blazer, gold bag and that was it...
