Fur Vest

Hola a todos...! Me encanta Noviembre, no tienen idea de cúanto, para mí no solo es el mes donde cumplo años sino el mes donde preparo TODO para Navidad... Además el clima aquí en Antigua solo hace todo mucho más especial, los días son soleados pero con vientos fríos que pueden incluso congelarte... 

Hace un par de semanas fui a un evento de Perfumerías Fetiche, en el cual pude conocer más a fondo todo acerca de algunas marcas que manejan, realmente fue muy interesante y enriquecedor para mí que me gusta tanto conocer sobre productos para la piel... 

Para esto use una de mis adquisiciones del mes pasado, este chaleco de piel sintética indispensable para el otoño/invierno... Espero que les gusten mucho las fotos en este hermoso lugar...  Hablando de mis últimas adquisiciones, muchos de ustedes me han pedido un post sobre ellas, perdón que aún no lo he presentado, pero pronto lo tendré para ustedes...

Hello everyone ...! I love November, you don't have idea how much, for me is not just my birthday month, it is when I prepare EVERYTHING for Christmas... And the weather in Antigua makes everything more special, sunny days with cold winds that makes you freeze...

A couple of weeks ago went to Perfumerías Fetiche event, in which I could know in deep some brands they manage, really interesting and rich specially for a girl like me who enjoys to know about skin products.

For this event I wore one of my last month purchases, this synthetic fur vest, an essential for this autumn/winter. I hope you like the pictures of this beautiful place... Now talking about my last purchases, many of you had ask a post about them and that is coming soon...

Lifestyle basics

Hay muchas cosas, grandes o pequeñas que son específicas en nuestro estilo de vida, para algunos es el café, para otros los libros, el ejercicio, etc…  Y no es una sola sino un conjunto. Para los que me conocen saben que tengo varias cosas que se han convertido en un básico en mi vida, y hoy quiero escribir sobre mis básicos jeans LEVI´S. 

Aun recuerdo el día en que compre mis primeros jeans, ya tenía edad para escoger mi propia ropa  y  ese día obtuve mis primeros LEVI’S. Después tenía más opciones pero yo no dudaba en que los jeans que yo quería comprar eran siempre los mismos. Cuando algo se convierte básico en tu vida, es porque con eso te identificas, ya no tienes que buscar más, otra opción se queda corta, y cuando encuentras los jeans ideales se ajustan no solo a tu cuerpo sino a tu vida… 

Me acompañaron durante la universidad, y hubieron veces que incluso en mi casa me hicieron deshacerme de unos cuantos rotos que ya no se consideraban pantalones. Mis jeans viajaron conmigo en auto, avión y hasta en lancha, me acompañaron al trabajo en los viernes casuales, se mudaron conmigo varias veces y ahora están presentes en mi blog…

Quise tomar estas fotos con la vista de la ciudad que ahora es parte de mi estilo de vida, y puede que llegue a ser tan básica para mí como lo son mis jeans LEVI´S… 

There is lots of little or big things that join us in our daily lifestyle, for some it´s the coffee, for others are books, workouts, etc... it's not only one, is a mix of things. For the ones who know me, you know I have a whole bunch of things that had become a basic in my life, and today I want to write about my basics jeans LEVI´S.

I still remember the day I bought my first pair, I was old enough to choose my own clothes and I got my first LEVI´S. Afterwards I had more options but never doubted about my jeans, they always have to be the same ones. When something becomes basic in your life, it is cause you identify yourself with it, no search is needed, any other option is good enough, and when you find the ideal jeans they just fit not just to your body but also your lifestyle...

They were with me at college, and there were times when at home they made me get rid of some cause they were old and in any way considered jeans LOL. They had travelled with me by car, plane and boat; they joined me at casual Fridays, they moved out with me many times and now they are here with me in my blog... 

This time I wanted to take this pictures with the view of the city that is now part of my lifestyle, and could become basic just  as my jeans LEVI´S.

Shorts with a bow

Ya es viernes!!! Y terminamos la semana con un outfit de Dress Code. En esta oportunidad usando unos shorts con un hermoso detalle adelante y que a la vez los hace ver como una falda, este detalle fue lo que más me gusto de esta prenda, y es que en las fiestas de fin de año la tendencia de los moños siempre es un acierto... Lo combine con un suéter gris con negro, para lograr un outfit más casual. 

Hoy también quiero hablar acerca de otro tip para vernos más altas, zapatos nude, así como leen, cuando usamos zapatos nude en mi caso o de algún tono muy parecido al de tu piel logras dar la ilusión visual de tener piernas mucho mas largas, más aun si llevas prendas cortas, como yo con estos preciosos shorts...  

It's Friday!!! And I´m ending the week with an outfit from Dress Code. This time wearing shorts with beautiful detail below and which makes them look like a skirt, this detail was what I really like about this item, on holidays bows are always a hit... I combine it with a gray sweater, to get a casual outfit.

Today I also want to talk about another tip to look taller, nude shoes, just as you read, when we wear nude shoes in my case or some similar to your skin tone you give the visual illusion of having much longer legs, and even more if you wear short clothes below, like I do with these lovely shorts...

Inside out beauty

El post de hoy probablemente será incomodo de leer para algunos de ustedes, pero no puedo dejar de compartirles la maravilla que experimente la semana pasada... A veces sentimos la sensación de estar panzonas, o no tenemos tanta hambre, nos sentimos cansadas, etc... bueno yo tenía esos síntomas y otros más. Hacia un tiempo me habían hablado de la hidroterapia de colon y la verdad no le puse mucha atención, pero quedo en mi cierta curiosidad. La semana pasada tuve la oportunidad de realizarme una en Colonik Center, déjenme decir que simplemente fue la mejor desición que pude tomar, esto lo tiene que experimentar todo el planeta, por favor!!! Salí como si me hubiesen dado un masaje eterno, muy relajada... pero eso no es todo, luego de eso mi cuerpo ha tenido un mejoramiento increíble y precisamente de eso quiero hablarles hoy... a veces hacemos ejercicio, tratamos de comer lo mejor posible para vernos lindas, pero ese día comprobé que la belleza es de adentro hacia afuera, y no al revés. Y creo que con eso di el primer paso para una vida no solo más sana sino para sentirme mejor conmigo misma. 

Quiero decirles que la foto de arriba me la tome a la mañana siguiente y aunque yo se que soy delgada y petite, siempre como todas suelo tener una ligera pansita, pero desde ese día siempre me levanto así, muy plana, porque mi cuerpo ha mejorado por dentro en gran manera... Today's post will probably be uncomfortable for some of you to read, but I can´t help sharing the experience I had last week... Sometimes we feel a little bump or we're not so hungry, we feel tired, etc... Well I had these symptoms and others. Some while ago someone talked to me about colon hydrotherapy and I really didn´t pay to much attention, but I got a little curious. Last week I had the opportunity to do it at Colonik Center, let me say it simply was the best decision I could ever make, the entire planet have to live this at once, please, I left as if I had been given an eternal massage, very relaxed... but that's not all, after that my body had an incredible improvement and that´s exactly what I want to talk today... sometimes we workout, we try to eat the best to look beautiful, but that day I realized beauty is from the inside out, and not the other way. And I think with that I took the first step not only to a healthier lifestyle, but to feel better about myself.

I want to say the photo above I took it the next morning and although I know I´m slim and petite, like all girls I always feel a little tummy as usual, but since that day I always wake up like this, flat, because my body has improved greatly... Kites in the sky

Guatemala es un país lleno de tradiciones, comparto muchas de ellas aunque la mayoría de veces no las practico o disfruto. Noviembre no es la excepción, el primero comemos una comida especial llamada fiambre, es deliciosa y todos esperamos cada noviembre solo para poder comerlo. Pero también noviembre es el mes en que el viento sopla muy fuerte y vuelan muchos barriletes por doquier...

En cualquier lugar tú puedes comprar un barrilete en esta época, de todas formas, colores y tamaños. Antigua Guatemala cada vez me sorprende más, el pasado fin de semana descubrimos que sobre la carretéra a Dueñas, hay un lugar hermoso, entre los volcanes que se presta perfecto para volar barriletes. Cierran las calles solo para que todas las personas puedan ir a volar barriletes, era como una fiesta de barriletes pintoresca, fue hermoso, el objetivo de todos era lograr volar un barrilete... 

Pero el centro de atracción fue el atardecer sobre los volcanes de Fuego y Acatenango, simplemente te dejaba sin aliento, no soy la mejor fotógrafa pero les traigo algunas fotos para que puedan ver de lo que estoy hablando...

Guatemala is a country full with traditions, I share many of them but most of times I don´t practice or enjoy all these. This month isn't an exception, on november first we eat a special meal called Fiambre, is delicious and we all wait for the next November just to eat it. But November is the month when winds are stronger and many kites fly everywhere...

You can buy a kite anywhere at this time of the year, of all shapes, colors and sizes. Antigua Guatemala surprised me, last weekend we discovered on the road to Dueñas, a beautiful place, between the vulcanos that lends itself perfectly for flying kites. The streets is closed just to all people can go fly their kites, it was like a kite´s colorful feast, it was beautiful, everyone's goal was to fly a kite...

But the center of attraction was the sunset all over the vulcanos Fuego and Acatenango, just breathe taking, I'm not the best photographer but I bring you some pictures so you can see what I'm talking about...

Cozy shorts

 

Hola Noviembre!!! Hemos entrado uno de mis meses favoritos del año, el clima, la comida, las reuniones con amigos y mi  cumpleaños se acerca, lo cual me emociona... Y hoy empiezo la semana con un look muy acogedor... Ahora que se ha tornado frío es de aprovechar la ropa acogedora, sin embargo aquí en Guatemala hace frío pero a veces con mucho sol, y para esos momentos yo propongo que no desechemos nuestros shorts aun pues bien los podemos combinar con unos booties y un mini abrigo de algodón como este de Dress Code, puedes quitarle la capucha. Un outfit tan básico, cómodo y a la vez ideal para está temporada... 

Hello November!!! We have started one of my favorite months of the year, the weather, the food, socializing with friends and my birthday is coming up, which excites me... And today I start the week with a cozy look... Now that it has turned cold is time to take advantage of the cozy clothing, but here in Guatemala sometimes is cold but sunny, and for those moments I propose not to throw out our summer shorts because we can combine it well with some booties and a mini cotton coat as this one from Dress Code, you can remove the hood. A basic and comfy outfit yet ideal for the season...

Nueva tienda "Almacenes Siman"

Octubre se va, empieza un nuevo mes y de mis favoritos, el tiempo vuela... en octubre una de las cosas más importantes para la moda en Guatemala fue la apertura de la nueva tienda de Almacenes Siman en Condado Concepción a la cual asistí... Fue una noche muy emotiva para la familia que por generaciones ha llevado a engrandecer este legado, y para nosotros que hemos sido parte de su equipo fue de gran emoción el poder celebrar junto a ellos un logro más y mucho más grande... 

El evento conto con una ceremonia previa a la inauguración, luego un pequeño fashion show y termino con un cocktel para realizar el recorrido de la tienda, por supuesto era el momento ideal para saludar a muchas personas del medio y comentar sobre lo mucho que nos gusta Almacenes Siman. 

Les dejo fotos de todo lo que sucedio esa noche y espero que pronto puedan ir a visitar esta tienda que supera en mucho a las demas...

October is gone, a new month begins and it´s my favorite, time flies... in October one of the most important things for fashion in Guatemala was the opening of the new Siman store at Condado Concepcion which I attended... it was a very emotional night for the family that for generations has led to magnify this legacy, and to us who have been part of Siman team was a great excitement to celebrate with them one more and bigger achievement...

The event had a ceremony before the opening, then a little fashion show and ended up with a cocktail to visit the store, of course it was the ideal place to say hello to many friends there, and comment how much we like Siman.

I leave photos of everything that happened that night and hope you soon can be able to visit this new store, in case you haven´t...
