Thin layers

Esta ha sido una semana diferente para mi, tengo muchas actividades pero a la vez el estar viviendo algo totalmente diferente a mi rutina cotidiana también me ha hecho bien... salir de casa por unos días, o salir de mi pequeña hermosa ciudad en mi caso, me ha hecho respirar mas profundo, pensar en otras ideas etc... 

Mientras estoy en la ciudad de Guatemala trato de disfrutar de un clima mas caliente o mejor dicho menos frío, usando suéteres ligeros, creando capas finas etc. y preparándome mentalmente para mi regreso a casa. Siempre me gusta crear outfits de otoño con prendas  en colores pastel que use en primavera, pueden ver otro dando click aquí y aquí. Esta vez creé este con un top nude al que le sobrepuse otro top de encaje y sobre el use un suéter ligero color rosado, agregando un collar Escarlata en los mismos tonos del outfit, también agregue mas color con un pantalón color menta y como usualmente hago lo complemente con cabello y maquillaje muy natural.

This has been a different week for me, I´ve had a lot of activities, but being doing something totally different than my daily routine has also been good to me... leave home for a few days, or leave my beautiful little town in my case, it has made me breathe deeper, get new ideas, etc ...

While I am in Guatemala City I´m trying to enjoy a warmer weather, wearing lightweight sweaters, creating thin layers etc. and mentally preparing myself to get back to my home. I always like to create fall outfits with pastel palette color clothes I wore on spring, you can see some other outfits by clicking here and here. I created this one with a nude top adding another lace top over it and a light pink sweater, I added an Escarlata necklace in the same outfit colors, mint bottoms and as I usually do a very natural hair and makeup.

Food Style:: Comet Dinner

Comet Dinner, es una muy buena opción al estar en los centros comerciales Miraflores y Oakland Mall, no solo por la comida, sino en lo personal me encanta sentirme en una capsula de los años ´50, bueno, a quien no?... La semana pasada lanzaron su nuevo menú, incluyendo un nuevo pan en sus hamburguesas y carne tipo Angus. El nuevo menú es muy amplio e incluye sabores penetrantes como blue cheese, chipotle, etc... sin descuidar la frescura de sus ingredientes los cuales incluyen pan artesanal.  

Sin duda Comet Dinner es el lugar ideal para estar en un ambiente diferente, con comida rica y a los niños les encanta, así que como mamá también lo recomiendo... 

Comet Dinner is a very good choice to eat when you´re shopping at Miraflores or Oakland Mall, not only because of the food, but personally I love the feeling of being in a capsule of the '50s, well, who wouldn't?... last week they released their new menu, including a new bread on their burgers and Angus beef. The new menu is extensive and includes deep flavors like blue cheese, chipotle, etc... without neglecting the freshness of their ingredients which include artisan bread.

Comet Dinner is definitely a great place to feel in a different atmosphere, with delicious food and the kids love it, so I recommend it as a mom too...

What I wore for MNG fashion show...

El pasado sábado tuve la oportunidad de ir a conocer la nueva linea de invierno de MNG, un evento que se llevo a cabo en La Reunión, el cual se prestaba perfectamente para presentar su nueva colección no solo de mujer sino todo lo nuevo para hombres y niños, toda la ropa es perfectamente ajustable al estilo de vida cotidiano y fashionista de todas y ahora de todos...

Dentro de las tendencias para esta temporada destacan los volúmenes de prendas oversized y las estructuras cocoon. La presentación de MNG brilló con el aire femenino que aportan las faldas, las camisas y aplicaciones en lentejuelas.   Y para quienes gustan de un look más rockero, arriesgado y provocador la propuesta son prendas con flecos, tachuelas, cuadros, pantalones de tiro alto y de corte masculino, en colores como el rojo o el azul Klein.

Tenia que aprovechar la oportunidad de estar en un lugar soleado para usar algo mas liviano en esta época, para lo que elegí unos shorts, una blusa muy ligera y mi hermoso clutch de Maria´s Bag...

Last Saturday I had the opportunity to get to know the new fall/winter line by MNG, an event that was held in La Reunion, which lent itself perfectly to present the new collection not only for women but for men and kids, all clothing fits perfectly to everyday style...

Trends for this season includes voluminous and oversized garments and cocoon structures. The fashion show shined with the feminine air that skirts, shirts and sequin applications provides. And for those who like rock, daring and provocative style, the proposal are fringed garments, studs, high-waisted pants and male cuts, in red and blue Klein color.

It was a sunny day so I wore something lighter, for which I chose a pair of shorts, a wide blouse and my beautiful clutch by Maria's Bag...

Novel Romance by MAC

Hola a todos! Como se que sus artículos favoritos son los de moda y belleza, hoy les traigo lo ultimo sobre las colecciones de MAC  una marca conocida por todas y todos... Los tonos son azules, corintos y fucsia con toques metálicos, debo confesar que toda la colección me encanto, y las sombras son preciosas, en una paleta con azules y morados que hacen resaltar la mirada en cualquier tono de ojos... No se queden con la duda y visiten las cualquiera de las tiendas para conocer lo nuevo de la marca personalmente... Les dejo no solo fotos del evento...

Fur Vest

Hola a todos...! Me encanta Noviembre, no tienen idea de cúanto, para mí no solo es el mes donde cumplo años sino el mes donde preparo TODO para Navidad... Además el clima aquí en Antigua solo hace todo mucho más especial, los días son soleados pero con vientos fríos que pueden incluso congelarte... 

Hace un par de semanas fui a un evento de Perfumerías Fetiche, en el cual pude conocer más a fondo todo acerca de algunas marcas que manejan, realmente fue muy interesante y enriquecedor para mí que me gusta tanto conocer sobre productos para la piel... 

Para esto use una de mis adquisiciones del mes pasado, este chaleco de piel sintética indispensable para el otoño/invierno... Espero que les gusten mucho las fotos en este hermoso lugar...  Hablando de mis últimas adquisiciones, muchos de ustedes me han pedido un post sobre ellas, perdón que aún no lo he presentado, pero pronto lo tendré para ustedes...

Hello everyone ...! I love November, you don't have idea how much, for me is not just my birthday month, it is when I prepare EVERYTHING for Christmas... And the weather in Antigua makes everything more special, sunny days with cold winds that makes you freeze...

A couple of weeks ago went to Perfumerías Fetiche event, in which I could know in deep some brands they manage, really interesting and rich specially for a girl like me who enjoys to know about skin products.

For this event I wore one of my last month purchases, this synthetic fur vest, an essential for this autumn/winter. I hope you like the pictures of this beautiful place... Now talking about my last purchases, many of you had ask a post about them and that is coming soon...

Lifestyle basics

Hay muchas cosas, grandes o pequeñas que son específicas en nuestro estilo de vida, para algunos es el café, para otros los libros, el ejercicio, etc…  Y no es una sola sino un conjunto. Para los que me conocen saben que tengo varias cosas que se han convertido en un básico en mi vida, y hoy quiero escribir sobre mis básicos jeans LEVI´S. 

Aun recuerdo el día en que compre mis primeros jeans, ya tenía edad para escoger mi propia ropa  y  ese día obtuve mis primeros LEVI’S. Después tenía más opciones pero yo no dudaba en que los jeans que yo quería comprar eran siempre los mismos. Cuando algo se convierte básico en tu vida, es porque con eso te identificas, ya no tienes que buscar más, otra opción se queda corta, y cuando encuentras los jeans ideales se ajustan no solo a tu cuerpo sino a tu vida… 

Me acompañaron durante la universidad, y hubieron veces que incluso en mi casa me hicieron deshacerme de unos cuantos rotos que ya no se consideraban pantalones. Mis jeans viajaron conmigo en auto, avión y hasta en lancha, me acompañaron al trabajo en los viernes casuales, se mudaron conmigo varias veces y ahora están presentes en mi blog…

Quise tomar estas fotos con la vista de la ciudad que ahora es parte de mi estilo de vida, y puede que llegue a ser tan básica para mí como lo son mis jeans LEVI´S… 

There is lots of little or big things that join us in our daily lifestyle, for some it´s the coffee, for others are books, workouts, etc... it's not only one, is a mix of things. For the ones who know me, you know I have a whole bunch of things that had become a basic in my life, and today I want to write about my basics jeans LEVI´S.

I still remember the day I bought my first pair, I was old enough to choose my own clothes and I got my first LEVI´S. Afterwards I had more options but never doubted about my jeans, they always have to be the same ones. When something becomes basic in your life, it is cause you identify yourself with it, no search is needed, any other option is good enough, and when you find the ideal jeans they just fit not just to your body but also your lifestyle...

They were with me at college, and there were times when at home they made me get rid of some cause they were old and in any way considered jeans LOL. They had travelled with me by car, plane and boat; they joined me at casual Fridays, they moved out with me many times and now they are here with me in my blog... 

This time I wanted to take this pictures with the view of the city that is now part of my lifestyle, and could become basic just  as my jeans LEVI´S.
