Hace un par de semanas aproximadamente les compartí un post donde había hecho un dobladillo a mis pantalones, ofrecí enseñarles pero olvide hacerlo, una amiga me lo ha recordado hace varios días ya y hasta hoy lo he vuelto a recordar, así que allí les va:

A couple of weeks ago I shared a post with you where I was wearing a jeans with a hem, I offered  to show you how to do it but I forgot it,  one of my friends reminded me a few days ago but until today I remember again, so here it is:

1. Dobla tu pantalón al nivel que deseas.

2. Dobla hacia afuera pero solo hasta la mitad.

3. Dobla la otra mitad hacia arriba.

4. Esconde bien los bordes.

1. Bend your pants at the level you want.

2. Bend out but only halfway.

3. Bend the other half up.

4. Hide the edges.

Voila!!! nada complicado ...

Hola a todos mis amigos lectores!!!!  Se que no he tenido tanta constancia escribiendo pero he estado muy ocupada con todo. Mi pequeña pasa por algunos cambios y sus cualidades de líder afloran, cosa que es buena, pero debo aprender como mama a ayudarle a desarrollar un liderazgo positivo, así que empezare a leer varios libros en los próximos días. Por otro lado también estoy ayudando organizar un baby shower a una amiga, todo esta quedando lindo. 

Hello to all my readers friends!!!!  I know I haven´t been constant writing but I've been very busy in everything. Mi little girl is passing for some changes and her leadership qualities are emerging, is a good thing, but I have to learn as a mom how to help her to develop a positive leadership, so in the next days, I'll start reading a few books.

Hoy les traigo un post lleno de color, si han ido conociendo mi estilo la mayor parte del tiempo es neutro, pero a veces quiero usar color, mucho color, mas en los días grises y nublados. El sábado fuimos a almorzar a Antigua Guatemala, el día estaba gris, y al llegar caía una ligera lluvia, así que antes que lloviera mas tomamos algunas fotos con algunos rayos de sol que duraron pocos minutos. 

Today I bring you a post full of color,if you follow me you know the most of the times my style is neutral, but sometimes I want to use color, much color, in cloudy days even more. Last saturday we had lunch in Antigua Guatemala, the day was grey, and a light rain was falling, so before rain come we took some pictures with a little bit of sunlight that lasted just a couple of minutes.

Quería color, recordé que hace poco compre este sobre bordado con muchisismo color y de allí partí, le combine azul, rojo, coral etc. El camino hacia Antigua fue largo así que durante el viaje tuve mucho tiempo para peinarme, ombre trenzas no quedarían mal del todo.

I wanted color, I remembered I had this purse I bought recently full of color and I combined it with blue, red, coral etc. Our trip to Antigua was long so I had a lot of time to make my hair, ombre braids didn't sound bad at all.

La sesión de fotos duro muy poco, se acercaba mas la lluvia así que tuvimos que irnos muy pronto, las calles empedradas de Antigua son una de sus mayores características, aca podrán ver mas a perspectiva sus calles, yo amo sus calles y todo lo que hay en ella.

The photoshoot was short, rain was coming so we left pretty soon, Antigua's cobbled street are one of its major features, here you can see more perspective of the streets, I love the streets and all that is therein.

Enjoy the little things

Como les dije hace varios días, los días se van y volando... Esta semana acá en mi hermosa Guatemala iniciamos con mucho calor, lo que me permitió empezar con muy buen pie régimen de jugos sanos, esta semana ingerí mucho jugo de zanahoria puro y natural, alto en contenido de vitamina E así que espero mi piel lo agradezca.

Like I told you a couple of days before, days are flying... This week in my beautiful Guatemala started very hot, which allowed me to start with a very good foot my healthy juices regime, this week I ingested much pure natural carrot juice, high in vitamin E so hopefully my skin thank you.

Sin embargo, a la mitad de la semana empezaron las lluvias, así que las bebidas calientes se han hecho presentes y necesarias, debido a que tenemos frió, estoy dejando el café así que me inclino por el te, es tan difícil ya que en serio amo el café, no creo poder quitármelo del todo, pero trato de tomarlo solo una o dos tazas a la semana.

However, in the middle of the week the rain started, and all the hot beverages have become necessaries and are present,because we're cold, I'm leaving coffee so I drink tea, is so hard because I love coffee, I don't think I can quit coffee totally, but I'll try to drink only one or two cups of coffee in all the week.

Mi esposo siempre tiene lindos detalles, desde novios, de vez en cuando me trae flores, yo no las cuido bien, así que es bueno para mí que no me traiga flores muy a menudo porque si no me sentiría mal al ver que las flores mueren a causa de mí. Pero lo que quiero contarles es que el se ha dado cuenta que a nuestra hija le gustan las flores y esta no es la primera vez que el le trae flores a ella también  es tan lindo ver como ella se siente agradada, se siente mimada de manera especial, con flores, y ella si cuida mucho sus flores...! 

My husband always has nice details, since we were dating, occasionally brings me flowers, No cuidar bien de ellos, así que es bueno para mí que no me traes flores muy a menudo porque si no me sentiría mal al ver que las flores mueren a causa de mí. But what I want to tell you is that he has realized that our daughter likes flowers and this is not the first time he brings her flowers and is so nice to see how she feels gratified, feel pampered in a special way, with flowers, and she takes great care of her flowers...!

{By popular demand} Fish croquettes

El pasado lunes tenia muchas ganas de comer croquetas de pescado, estaba en casa y no tenia planes de ir a algún restaurante en busca de ellas, cuando eso sucede lo que  sigue es meterse a la cocina a cocinarte a ti misma. Lo gracioso es que al publicar que las había comido en la pagina de facebook, al instante recibí llamadas de algunas amigas pidiéndome por favor que publicara la receta, así que a petición del publico allí les va!

The last monday I wanted to eat fish croquettes, I was home and I didn't have plans to go out to buy some in some restaurant, when that happens next thing I have to do is go to the kitchen and cook for myself. The funny thing is that when I posted in my facebook page that I've ate fish croquettes I started receiving calls asking me to post the recipe in my blog, so by popular demand here it goes.

Ingredientes:

1 libra de papa

1 lata de atún o atún previamente cocido

1 huevo

1/2 chile pimiento

2 cebollines

1/4 de taza de eneldo o cilantro

aceite de oliva

sal al gusto

1. Pones a coser las papas. 

2. Mientras se cosen pica los últimos tres ingredientes. 

3. Cuando tengas las papas cosidas pélalas, y haces un puré con un tenedor.

4. A las papas le agregas el cebollin, chile pimiento y eneldo picado, también el atún, huevo y sal. Mezclando todo uniforme. 

5. Ya debes tener lista tu freidora o un sarten con aceite caliente, con una cuchara vas sacando tus pequeñas bolitas y vas friendo por tandas, se fríen muy rápido, solo busca que queden doraditas.

Ingredients:

1 pound potatoes

1 can of tuna or tuna precooked

1 egg

1/2 chili pepper

2 scallions

1/4 cup dill or coriander

olive oil

salt

1. Boil the potatoes.

2. While potatoes are boiling, chop the last three ingredients.

3. When you have the potatoes cooked, peel them, and make a mash with a fork.

4. Add to the potatoes all the scallions, chili pepper and chopped dill, also tuna, egg and salt. Mixing all uniform. 

5. You must have prepared your fryer or a frying pan with hot oil with a spoon you taking your little balls and you fry in batches, fry quickly, try to cook till they're browned.

A mi me encantan, su color dorado me apetece, y por dentro son igual de exquisitas.

I love, I like it's golden color, and inside are equally exquisite.

Las puedes acompañar con un dip de tu preferencia, ya sea a base de crema, queso o yougurt,  solo hay que echar a andar la imaginación. 

You can accompany with your  preference dip, whether based on cream, cheese or yogurt, you just have to jump-start the imagination.

orbits and asymmetry

Ya estamos a la mitad de la semana, no puedo creer lo corto que se siente cada día, a veces quisiera congelar algunos. Me cuesta trabajo pensar que así como pasan los días mi pequeña se hace mas grande y madura, he tenido momentos muy lindos con ella y esos si puedo congelarlos en mi corazón.

We already are in the middle of the week, I can't believe how short does every day feels, sometimes I wish I could freeze some of those days. It´s hard for me to think about that with the days passing my little girl is bigger and mature, I´ve had very beautiful moments with her, and the good thing is that I can freeze those moments  in my heart.

El post de hoy lo llame así por el estampado de la falda, son como pequeñas órbitas, es un estampado al que no estoy muy acostumbrada, pero me ha gustado mucho.

Today´s post is called that way because of the skirt print, looks like little orbits, is a print that I'm not used to, but I've liked very much.

Esta falda es otro de los regalos de mi amiga Denisse, creo que la nombrare una patrocinadora de este blog jajaja... Ella al parecer conoce muy bien mi gusto y es muy generosa al pensar en mi cada vez que se topa con una prenda en talla petit. 

This skirt is another present from my friend Denisse, I think I´ll name her a collaborator of my blog LOL... She knows my style taste so well and she´s so generous for  thinking about me every time she finds petite size clothes.

ombre look :: sober style

El sabado les contaba que me he cambiado el look, que les parece?  estaba buscando un estilo un poco mas sobrio y mi estilista maravillosa ha logrado lo que yo deseaba. Me costo acostumbrarme a la idea de verme el pelo oscuro total pero he tenido muy lindos comentarios acerca de mi nuevo aspecto que me han facilitado el acoplarme. 

On my saturday night post I told you I changed my look, so what do you think? I was looking for a more sober style, and my wonderful stylist has achieved what I wanted. It was hard to get used to the idea of ​​seeing my dark hair, but I had very nice comments about my new look that have facilitated me to accept my new style.

Esto es lo que me encanta de el ombre look, que lo podemos usar con el color que deseamos y aun siempre se destaca y se ve muy bien. 

This is what I love about ombre look, we can use it with the color we want and always stands out and looks great.

Enjoy the little things

Hola a todos, como va su fin de semana? El mio lleno de cambios. Les contare que me acabo de cambiar el look, podrían adivinar que me cambie??? la otra semana les mostrare el cambio que me he hecho y espero les guste, me ha costado acostumbrarme pero he tenido buenas criticas así que me siento contenta con la decisión.

Hello everyone, how is your weekend going? my weekend is full of changes. Let me tell you that I changed my look, guess what??? I´ll show next week my new look and I hope you like it, its very hard for me to get use to but I had good critics so I feel happy with my decision.

Esta noche de sábado me la he tomado para estar en casa y me ha dado un tiempo para poder escribirles el post acerca de disfrutar de las pequeñas cosas de cada semana. Ya me hacia falta un descanso, esta semana estuve trabajando mucho y me sentía agotada, así que estar en casa me ha llenado de fuerzas para mañana y toda la semana.

I took this saturday night to be at home and that have gave me time to write about the enjoy the little things weekly post. I needed to rest, this past week I worked too much and I felt tired, so being at home full me of strengths for tomorrow and all the next week.

Lo primero que les traigo hoy es acerca de las frutas que estoy comiendo, quiero comer mas frutas y verduras ya que se predica con el ejemplo, y mi niña ha estado evitándolas así que con el ejemplo de mami espero las coma mas, aun en el auto podia llevarlas y así no romper mi habito, que les parece...

The first thing is about the fruits I´m eating, I want to eat more fruits and vegetables to talk through my example, my little girl has been avoiding them so if she see me eating more fruits she will eat them too, even in the car I can eat them so I don´t cut my new habit, what do you think?

Hoy fui al desayuno del que les hable, el tema eran los girasoles, ya que estos giran al sol, y así debiésemos nosotros de hacer, girar nuestro rostro hacia Dios. Las invitaciones eran divinas y los recuerdos para cada un aun mas.

Today I went to the event I told you about, the theme was sunflowers, these flowers turn their faces to the sun, and that´s how we all should do, turn our heart to God. The invitations were beautiful and the souvenirs even more.
