les comente que había recibido un mensaje en facebook del diseñador guatemalteco
Alexander Ayala, cuando el me contó el proyecto que pensaba para su colección no dude en decir que si. Su proyecto básicamente hacer un lookbook de su colección llamada: miércoles de ceniza, pero sin modelos, quería que las personas vieran que la ropa de cualquier diseñador pueden usarla todos y combinarla con prendas y accesorios que ya tienen en su closet.
Some weeks ago I told you that I´ve received a facebook message from the guatemalan fashion designer Alexander Ayala, when he talked to me about the project he wanted to make for his collection named: ash wednesday, I said yes without doubt, his idea was to make that without models, he wanted people to see that any kind of person can wear designer clothes and combine it with garments and accesories they already have in their closets.
Con esto concepto en mente, el titulo su lookbook "no modelos lo hacen mejor", es por eso que titule así este post. Yo no soy modelo, no tengo ni la estatura, ni las medidas, ni la postura, yo soy simplemente Diana o la Dianita para muchos, porque soy pequeñita, una de las razones que este blog lleve petite en su nombre. Y me encanta ser así tal cual soy, es mas hasta lo disfruto, y participar en la realización de este lookbook fue wow!, no puedo evitar contar que la idea principal era solo fotografiarme usando este vestido negro hermoso, pero
Alex se emociono tanto que quiso intentar con mas, y me dio las dos otras piezas, los shorts y la blusa negra, es decir, ya en escena surgió el segundo conjunto.
With this in mind, he tilted his lookbook "non models do it better", that´s why this post is titled like that. I´m not a model, I don´t have stature, I don´t have measures, and I don´t have the posture either, I´m simply Diana or little Diana for some of you, because I´m short, one of the reasons this blog have petite in its name. And I love to be like I am, I enjoy it, and be part of this lookbook was like wow!, I can´t avoid telling you that the main idea was to take photos of me wearing the beautiful black dress, but Alex got so excited that he wanted to try with other pieces, and he gave me the shorts and the black blouse, so the second outfit came up right there in the scene.
Que puedo decir, disfrute mucho esta experiencia, fue un honor colaborar con
Alexander Ayala y me encanto la idea central de su lookbook ya que la ropa es diseñada para que todos la usemos, y no solamente las o los modelos de la pasarela, es por ello que bajo mi descripción en la primera foto, expreso que para mi la moda no es lo que esta en las pasarelas, sino lo que lo que las personas usan en la calle, lo que se usa en realidad, y por ello me encanta este mundo blogger en el que me he metido, todas dando tips, ideas e inspiración.
What can I say, I enjoyed a lot this experience, I had the honor of work with Alexander Ayala and I loved the object of his lookbook because all the clothes is designed for everybody to wear it, and not only models on the runways, that´s why under my description in the first photo, I expressed that I think that fashion is not what is in the runways, fashion is what people is wearing on the streets, what they´re really wearing, and that´s why I love this blogger world, because everybody gives tips, ideas and inspirations.
